I'm Charlie Pevey, from Alhambra, CA.
I've been a game show fan since I was, what, 5 or 6. I've loved the trivia games (Jeopardy!, WWTBAM, and others), but I hadn't been very good at getting on a show until 1 vs. 100 came along. I made it into the Mob and picked up a whopping $249.14 (for knowing that C is the Roman numeral for 100).
I'll say I've been a casual fan of Wheel, but it wasn't until 2009 when my wife saw me playing along and said: "You're good! You should try out for the show!" After a failed audition in 2010, I really studied the show and tried again in 2014. I got THE LETTER and I tape soon. I've been an alternate. It was like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", to see how the whole thing works. I anxiously look forward to my return.

Even making it into the Mob is something. For prime time TV, I'm sure there are plenty who envy that position.
Probably not as much as being one of the 5 who capitalized after the "one" blew a six-digit pot.

Almost forgot... Back in 2004, I went to Disney California Adventure in Anaheim. They had the WWTBAM - Play It! attraction back then. Long story short, I answered 15 questions and won a Disney cruise. For the long story, it's at my Tripod site. |

Though I stopped watching WWTBAM eight years ago, it's always great to hear about a fellow former Netgames host going on to take some of Disney's money.
