So tomorrow's my birthday, and we had some close family over tonight for gifts and a small cake-cutting. This was my gift from my aunt...  Boy, that seems awfully familiar.  I did not send her any of my layouts. She bought it off zazzle.com. I imagine they got it from when it was on the show's Wikipedia article (which tenpoundhammer posted on there with my permission). I explained to everyone how I originally graphic designed this and they were amazed. Per my sister's recommendation, guess the "new season" layouts are getting small watermarks from now on. |

Another interesting fact about me: I was born at 7:55 PM, which is just around the time the Bonus Round is played on 7:30 airings of Wheel.  Unfortunately, no videos or recaps of my birth episode circulate, so I have no idea what the outcome was. I like to think it was a $25,000 win. |

A lot of birthdays in March, huh? Mine was back on March 2nd, and I've read the recap on the episode that aired just hours before I was born. Pity a shut-out occurred on that episode, March 2, 1990. Anyway, happy birthday, Mario. I'm glad you like your gift. Interesting you helped make your own birthday gift. |

In an indirect way, that's awesome Mario, despite it being kind of sad someone stole your layout, probably got it from the game show Wiki. Can't say I recognize you making the inverted Bankrupts though; did you ever make such a wedge? Watermarks indeed necessary; totally agree with your sister, because this is a recurring problem. Not sure on your thoughts about this, but I'd put the mark in the green center part of the wheel, so the wedges can still be enjoyed on the whole. ...I never knew this fact on you, quite cool that you're connected with Wheel, even at birth. Did you get your favorite mug this birthday too? Too bad on not knowing your outcome; maybe eventually it will turn up, right? That'd be a great surprise, though no double play accepted. (My sister, also an avid watcher, was born 7:21, which is when my affiliate comes back for the BR.) For what it's worth, mine's not out there either, but I know from the next show a French teacher named Kathy won, and solved her BR for a boat, since Pat discussed this pre-R1 the following show. Wish I knew the puzzle. Doubly perfect for me; one of my majors/my other language, and I love the water/boats; surrounded by them all over here in the Ocean State. But hey! Lest I forget, happy birthday, Mario! Love what you do for this page, in so many ways, with graphics, Wheel history, social media outreach, etc. You do a wonderful service for this page hat I ought to recognize in you more than I do. We wouldn't be nearly the site we are today throughout all you've done, and on behalf of the rest of the staff, we're all quite glad you're on our team. Keep being awesome and the great work, as always! |

Can't say I recognize you making the inverted Bankrupts though; did you ever make such a wedge? No. Whoever made the clock design deleted the black surrounding the Bankrupt text for some reason. I would've colored it back in with marker, but the layout is underneath thick plexiglass. Maybe I should make my own Zazzle store with my own designs. |
