On top of that, you seriously need to get your priorities in order if you're offering prayers and condolences to someone who lost out on money they never had in the first place. Yes, it's a disappointing occurrence (one that, frankly, surprised me that it took this long to happen), but that's why the game's called Wheel of FORTUNE. She still walked away with a respectable total (just about what I wound up taking away, let me remind you). More money may make life easier, but it may not necessarily make you happier.

Okay, now that I've had time to read this garbage, I do actually have to call someone out here bigtime..and it's probably not who most of you expect. Jesus Fucking Christ. Are you fucking shitting me with this thread? Really? Come on, Jess, this is way out of line, and you know it. We're admins. We have to set a good example for the site, and try to steer our newer members in the right direction, not reply to a post with a profanity-laden remark talking to them like they're seven. I know things can be frustrating at times, but we can't let our emotions get the better of us, and we can't let them get in the way of us doing our jobs. I know we're a bit more lax on the swearing than other forums are, but that's not an excuse to use swear words in such a manner, otherwise others see us do it and suddenly feel it's okay. (Protip: it's not!) Now that I've actually had a chance to see what the fuss was all about here, the only thing I really see- at least in terms of this thread- is a violation of the 'no spoiler' policy...which certainly wasn't worth that response. This is not to say that the OP of this thread wasn't in the wrong, either. atrocalypse, please take a minute to read over the official site Rules, which can be found by clicking on the link in the menubar. Specifically, take note of where it says that spoilers about a day's show are not to be posted outside of their respective recap threads until the following calendar day. Not everyone may have had a chance to see the show yet when you started this thread, and said people may have clicked on it, with it's fairly vague title, saw the spoiler, and be all "oh shit, no point watching now, thanks for that!". That's what the recap threads are for. Also, please take note of Josh's comments earlier in this thread. We tend to frown upon posts without any form of thought behind them around these parts. This isn't Facebook or Twitter or whatnot where you can just post whatever random nonsense is on your mind. This is a discussion forum about Wheel of Fortune...and if you post something that doesn't make sense, expect one of our friendly moderators to kindly take action. Anyways, now that I've said what I need to, may this discussion be officially considered over. |
