I just thought of a great knew bonus round idea.
Since this show is called WHEEL OF FORTUNE, I was thinking "Why not include a significant element of jeopardy (and NO, the current bomus round format does not fit that description) involving the famous Wheel?" Here's what I came up with:
First, there will be the standard bonus round, only with a different Bonus Wheel distribution:
8 $10,000 envelopes 8 $20,000 envelopes 5 $30,000 envelopes 2 $50,000 envelopes 1 $100,000 envelope
Then comes the interesting part. Should the player win the bonus round, they have a choice: keep the money they won in the bonus round or risk it on one final spin of the (main-game) wheel. However, the dollar amounts are covered over by multipliers. Here's the distribution:
3 Double spaces 3 +$20,000 (or +Car) spaces 3 Half spaces 3 Quarter Spaces 3 Bankrupt spaces 2 Quadruple spaces 2 Triple spaces 1 ×5 space 1 Add a 0 space 1 Remove a 0 space 1 +$50,000 space 1 Bankrupt/$1,000,000/Bankrupt space
(For those who don't know by now, I named it Wheel 23 after the UK Deal or No Deal element it resembles, Box 23.)
This way, any bonus round can be a million dollar bonus round, and wins of $100,000+ are slightly more possible but still very unlikely.
What do you all think about it?

I don't know if the show will ever use something like that, but chances are they won't since it may eat up more time than allowed. Still, sounds like a fantastic idea to me, so much so that I'd love to make the risk layout used on the main-game Wheel. How would you like the wedges distributed on it?
Please be sure to tell me whether the layout is clockwise or counterclockwise as the list reads downward.

I just want to see what people think of it before I act further on it. Also, anyone may feel free to create their own Wheel using this idea and use this as their bonus round in the Game On! section, so long as they credit me as the originator of this idea.

Not really crazy about the idea. It just has DonD written all over it with some gimmick to try and give away big money. Considering that nearly half of you added wheel could potentially result in 6 figure sums you may want to reconsider what figures you're using on both. I can already here Harry's ghost screaming about this and he's not even dead. Also it seems weird to name it Wheel 23 considering most wouldn't pick up on the reference unless they've seen recent episodes of the UK DonD. 23 also has no relevance to any part of the game so it's more wtf-y than anything. Using the main game wheel is obviously a not to Aussie wheel but our wheel has always stopped considerably sooner than what Australia's did so the drama that you might be hoping to get from using the main game wheel would last maybe 4 seconds.
Redacted last sentence. I get the point you're trying to make, George, but there are more tactful ways of phrasing that sentiment. That wasn't one of them. --JW

It's mainly meant to be an idea for Game On! forum games. You seriously think I would write this with the intention of the actual show picking this up?!

It's also an idea which I would never approve for a forum game.
