Inspired by WooWho's international host thread as well as my desire to get my hands on Aussie's Million Dollar Wheel theme music, I'd thought I'd ask if anyone had a favorite theme from any version of Wheel outside the United States. Germany's version had a great music and sound package. So did the 2008 Philippine version (that was awesome), but if I had a favorite international Wheel theme, it'd be from the 2008 revival of Aussie's version. It's like saying " Wheel of Fortune is never going to be the same again," but in a good way. So my top three are... 3. Germany 2. Philippines (2008) 1. Australia (2008) What's yours, everyone? |

The original Australian theme, the Mexican theme, and the second Polish theme are my favorites, and I'd say in that order.

The New Zealand theme, which was used in the '90s for Celebrity Wheel in Australia.

I really wish I could find the Australian solve cue that you would here during Rob Elliot's stint as host. Obviously it was used at other times but he was probably my fave Aussie host.

Oh sure man - I'm a total Wheel nerd too - from years watching the Aussie one - I made my own kinda trilion puzzleboard back in 2006 or so even (on a much smaller scale) - not sure if i have a pic though

My favorite international Wheel themes?
* The first Aussie Wheel theme (1981-90s), because it's just so iconic (and possibly based on "Big Wheels"; not sure on that).
* Pole Chudes (Russia), around the mid-2000s. Pretty glamorous theme befitting the show's long run.
* La Roue Chanceuse, the French-Canadian version. A knockoff "Changing Keys" with a set that's clearly a knockoff of the 1986-89 daytime style...seriously, the show ran for three years, how has a full episode not surfaced by now?

I'm going to be in the minority, but I enjoy the UK version's theme. Not only that, the Aussie theme is boss, especially the 1996-2006 remix.
