Hey there everybody!
I just wanted to post and share some of my excitement about getting "the letter" after three Wheelmobile try-outs over the years, one unsuccessful video and a previous "random email pick" which led me to my first Final Audition in Culver Cuty a few years back. This past April I finally got on stage in Las Vegas and following that I was invited via email again to the Final Auditions about a week later. The way the
Callbacks are described on the board and Internet is very similar to my experience.
For any hopefuls, my advice would be to follow the coordinators directions, project (not scream), maybe dress up a little, make eye contact, be yourself and most of all to try and have fun and crack jokes if you can. (Even a corny joke can be a good icebreaker and mine got some laughs and helped me relax a little.) Also, I would suggest thinking about what you might say beforehand for the interview portion because a few other hopefuls unfortunately seemed to ramble or stumble with this part and I think this may have hurt their chances a bit. Also, it probably doesn't hurt to just be nice and root for everyone. Be prepared to clap and smile for several hours too! And play like you would on the show!
It's a real dream come true to be part of the show, having been a fan since Chuck Woolery was host. (Boy, now I feel really old!)
I can't wait to see what's in store for Season 33. Until then I'm watching reruns and playing the ap for practice.
