VOGUE was a fairly obscure one even for a 5-letter bonus puzzle.

I think THE most obscure one I've seen was JUST GOOGLE IT (1/21/2014). They couldn't have just used JUST LOOK IT UP?

Because nobody "looks things up" anymore. People Google things.

And that's why they could have used JUST LOOK IT UP as a puzzle. Old-timey phrases that will be long forgotten are the perfect bonus puzzle solution. Well this, and the BY trap. even if the contestant did call the U, there are still two O's that they might not think about.

I thought FICUS was one of the more obscure BRs I'd ever seen, about 10 years ago. Even better, the contestant actually solved it.
A lot of the "adjective/noun combo" types often get few to no Google hits.

I remember YOU WIN was a bonus puzzle. Unfortunately, the contestant could not do just that.

^ JUST WIN I thought was worse, not only because the letter setup made it almost impossible to do so.

FINICKY BABY and WILDLY HAPPY GUY come immediately to mind, as does anything with QUIZ in it. Looking at TPH's website, I see stuff like BY THE QUART and DABBLE IN THE KITCHEN from the past six months alone. Oh, and PIECE OF MIND and SHOWER THONGS from November 2003.
And so it doesn't seem like I'm bashing only Harry's puzzles, there's the WAX - ZOO - WIG trifecta from October 1992, GUY from May '95, and pretty much any time Slang showed up (1992-95).

QUIZ SHOW was a BR all the way back in Season 6, believe it or not.

I'm not sure if these solutions have been used, but if you think you've seen enough obscure bonus puzzles, have these on me.

They've used just IN A JIFFY and GUAVAS before. They also had QUIRKY PERSONALITY in Season 31.
