tuffy-- I'm also not sure about the eligibility of family members (assuming we're picked for Denver week). I've told a couple of colleagues about the promotion but that's it. I assume friends/colleagues are ok to win something like that if we end up going on that week?

Today's tapings were for Carnival Cruise Week which will air for the week of February 22 - 26. Sorry my mistake today's tapings were for Shopping Spree Week for the week of Feb. 22 - 26. Spin and Sail Week will be taped today. Got info mixed up from my friend who attended yesterday's tapings. |

Hi, Buy a Vowel Boards! I'm also new to this site. I got the letter back in July, and I've been eagerly awaiting a call from the Contestant Department since then. I'm a college student, and I expressed interest in being a contestant on the College Week. It seems like the status of a College Week this season is uncertain. I'd be happy with any themed week - I'm just excited to be a contestant! I'm also hoping my taping is coming up in February, but I don't know anything yet.

Waiting for the letter is WAY more stressful than waiting for the notification! At least once you get the letter you know it's a matter of when... not if! Good luck to all those waiting... mine took 16 days (with a holiday.) Don't get discouraged if 14 days pass and you still haven't received your letter (trust me... easier said than done!) Keep positive!!  |

Those of you just getting your letters, prepare for everyone you tell to start asking "when are you going to be on Wheel of Fortune?" all the time. My students seem to ask once a week when I'm going to be on tv and I have to keep saying "I don't know yet."

I work at our local school, so while I'm thrilled that we're on day 4 of snow days....it means we haven't had mail since last Friday. Yesterday I swear I was hearing things. My husband started messing with me saying the mail had come, but he dropped it in the snow and lost it. Sigh. Maybe we'll get mail today? Today is officially day 14.
