Here is an episode from the never rerun on GSN Season 4 that I just found this past week. This was taken from the September 11, 1987 repeat (I also have part of the Jeopardy! episode that was new from that same day on that channel). That was the final rerun before Season 5 began, and was odd in that while for most of their history Wheel/J! would premiere their seasons the same day, Wheel started theirs a week later than J!'s in 1987. Based on the "Flower Petal" backgrounds present and the mention of the fur from being from the fall collection means that this episode definitely aired no earlier than October 20, 1986 and no later than early December. Unfortunately, the local affiliate forgot to start the bonus round segment properly and thus cut into that segment several seconds in with a crude attempt to rush by having a few seconds play at warp speed, and this meant that the closing credits were incomplete. Still, its always fun to find a not-in-circulation episode that with this posting will allow it to enter.

OK this is weird, anyone else recall seeing glitched-up intros around 1986, aside from this episode? Just found this in the above episode...

That person in the audience cracked me up about the trip to Bermuda.

That excitement over the Bermuda trip certainly added to just how good this episode was. And the price of that necklace? Goodness!
As for the intro, I wouldn't want to say it was glitched, at least not yet. They could've been experimenting with different styles.

This had to have aired in mid December 1986 - the prizes are the same as in the photos in Vanna Speaks albeit without the Christmas decorations
