Agreed! And they're EXCEPTIONALLY helpful through the entire process. Definitely does not hurt to reach out to them and see if you're still in the system. Thanks for the tip. I called about 3 months ago and they confirmed I'm on the list. He also mentioned it can be up to two years so I'm waiting (not so) patiently and continuing to hone my puzzle solving skills. With all the practice you're getting honing your skills I bet you'll end up being our next MDW Winner  And you'll take it the WHOLE way and not miss it by 1 little peg like the woman on my week of tapings LOL |

Have you contacted one of the contestant coordinators to verify you're still in their database? Approaching two years, they certainly won't mind hearing from you to double-check. Agreed! And they're EXCEPTIONALLY helpful through the entire process. Definitely does not hurt to reach out to them and see if you're still in the system. I did call the contestant department. I've actually called a few times to make sure I was still in the database. According to whom I talked to I still am but there might be a glimmer of hope now. Before he confirmed I'm still in the computer he assumed I tried out for Best Friend's Week with my best friend. After I told him no he went to pull out the hard copy of my application and it gives the date I auditioned and that I auditioned alone. I'm hoping next week I'll hear something from him. I know it's a random draw to see who gets the email but again 2 years is unexpected. |

I feel like a dragged out Wheel of Fortune tape date notification is the 8th circle of hell. Especially when you've been trying for a while/are a big fan. Crossing my fingers everyone is notified soon! (On the bright side, more time to prep!)
