Hi, everyone. I'm still the New Kid on the Block and I'm still learning the ropes. I've been looking at some these amazing and wonderful "WOF" fan-made Art and I really love and admire all the hard work. While I wish I could make my own "WOF" Wheel (and puzzle board), the best I can do is drawing and sketching and I would like to show U a couple samples of my WOF-related artwork, hope U guys like it (and I hope I do everything right when posting them).....
These were sketches I did about a month or so ago and as U can see, I am not only a die-hard "WOF" fan (Game Show fan in general), I'm also a huge fan of the "Super Mario Bros" franchise and I wanted to have a little fun and combined the two together as U can see with Mario as Pat Sajak and Princess Peach as Vanna White.

Well, that's nice that you did. In fact, I'm thinking about making custom Pressman Deluxe Wheel layouts for you that are modeled after this. Are you interested in me doing that for you?

Came across some more of my WOF artwork I'd like to show everybody (one of which is a cover art I did WAAAAY back in High School)....
^This is another one of my WOF-related artwork w/ Mario & Princess Peach as Pat & Vanna and my (another) very own wheel layout & color scheme.
^My version of the Dancing Wedges intro (my personal favorite) that was used frm 1992-1994.
And lastly, remember back in 1980 when they did the "Game Show Host Week" where Tom Kennedy played the game against two regular contestants ? Watching his appearance on the show as well as the "Game Show Host Tournament" weeks on Jim Perry's "Card Sharks", an idea popped in my head and I wanted to have a bit of fun by writing a fun creative story about Game Show Hosts playing "WOF" (this was back in High School, I didn't socialize much w/ my HS peers) ! Years had past, the writing faded and pages began to tear but I managed to save the cover art and here it is:
(here's a close up, I used the webcam on my laptop)
This is just pure fun and enjoyment for me, I'm not trying to gain anything frm these. |

^The dancing wedges intro is also my favorite intro EVER! I wish more of these episodes would surface online. I've not been able to find any. I guess I don't get to them before copyright violations take them down. I wish GSN would start showing WOF again.

^You and me both ! I LOVE that Dancing Wedges intro, my favorite is the $5,000 wedge dressed as a magician. GSN sadly isn't the same anymore, I rarely watch it. Nowadays, it's all about Steve Harvey "Family Feud" and all that other worthless crap they're showing and you should see what some of the people are saying on their Facebook, they are NOT happy.... |

Worthless enough for them to get programming on the cheap that draws in the best ratings, and bang for the buck. You might not like it, I'm not the biggest fan, but we're two individuals. The ratings, awards, money speaks for itself. It's an antilogy to worthless; it's a goldmine of cheap, successful programming. You state it yourself: GSN is all about airing the show, so why would they run it to the degree they do, were it not successful. Sony wouldn't want to run one of its own subsidiaries in the ground now, would it? |

A drawing of the "WOF" logo used from 1994-1997 (the Big Band theme music era), with no dollar values on the wheel...
^ I did this drawing over a decade ago, a friend of mine from High School (graduated a year after me) did a classroom "WOF" with her classmates & she called me up and asked me to come in and help her set it up, which I was happy to do. This was the logo for it & used the 1983-1989 theme (including the puzzle-solved cue), she played Vanna and of course, she wanted me to play Pat. |

^ I know I posted this once already but here is a MUCH better view of it (taken from my phone) with Mario & Princess Peach as Pat & Vanna and my very own wheel layout/color scheme.
^ And here is a recent drawing I did of that wheel layout/color scheme (and the "Prize" wedge I left it blank)....
^...and one without all the special wedges before I shaved in the wheel dollar amounts (so you guys can see them) and I colored the top dollar value (& the 10K wedge in the first drawing) gold and I didn't draw in the logo in the center of the wheel. |

Wow. Amazing art. The dollar amounts look virtually realistic. Plus, is it OK if I have made a digital version of your Wheel layout? Bare layout. I did the logo myself, BTW.  Layout with special wedges and Free Spin. Plus, I made the neon-green "TRIP" wedge.  |

^2006, Princess Peach & Mario in front of the video wall & two cars (two of each) on the opposite ends of the stage
^Princess Peach gestures towards the puzzle board (decked out with balloons) and as you can see I drew mine differently from the real one....
^Mario poses behind the "WOF" cake (yes, it's the same cake from "TPiR's" 35th Season premiere but different colors) & drew a tabletop made of the wheel ! (And the two Convertibles in the background & the balloon art behind them)
^Previously posted this drawing once already but this is a MUCH better view of it & you can see the colors (story behind the drawing takes place in Nov. 1994)
