They really need to bring back dancing wedges, that was so cool to see (even though the first time i saw such a thing was on show 3k(a, a for anniversary not actually 3k)'s intro before seeing it had been used much earlier in archive episodes on YouTube or elsewhere. Nice work.

Here are two more recent drawings of my wheel layouts ^ This is the round 2 wheel, top dollar is $2500 & it's the Jackpot Round & my version of the Jackpot wedge (upside down). The "Prize" ($8,353 Trip to Las Vegas) wedge is gone (let's say it was picked up but it wasn't won) & of course, another Bankrupt is added to the wheel (covering up the green $250) ^ And here is the round 3 wheel, top dollar (as well as onward rounds) is $5000 & the mystery round (my version of the wedges, over the pink $500 & the blue $700: one wedge hides a fabulous prize (Trip to The Bahamas) & the other a Bankrupt. I took away the "Surprise" wedge ($16,000+ Ski Boat, it was won) & the $10K wedge & Free Spin remains and (just like on the real "WOF") any special wedges left on the wheel are removed for the fourth round onward.

Of course we've all seen the picture of Pat & Vanna in front of the puzzle board with WHEEL OF FORTUNE'S 3000TH SHOW (October 1986, daytime version). I studied that picture over and over and came up with my own version (and it took me nearly a week to work on this drawing).... I added my own touches to the drawing. I added in the "dummy" trilons at the ends of puzzle board, blinking light bulbs at the bottom & the light border is all golden yellow but with the dark brown added in, makes it blink (when someone solves a puzzle). For the unused trilons, I used a green metallic colored pencil & a silver one for the strip surround the light border and added balloons at the opposite ends of the board and colored the carpeting blue instead of green.

Whoa, my! You did an awesome job drawing that! I don't think I would've been able to do such. Keep it up!

No problem. It's gonna be quite a treat for me to see more drawings of your puzzle board.

^ After a little breather & now back at work on new drawings, I'd like to call this one a 1985 promo photo (or publicity shot), like Princess Peach/Vanna's dress ? : )

Have two more recent drawings I did, continuing with the previous above photo and the mid-1980s promo photo shoot.... ^ different colored background & gave Princess Peach a new look, outfit, & hairdo (as well as Mario).... ^ and one more and yet another look for our gorgeous blonde bombshell (with a more glamour-like look) and Mario too (why not?) Just like on the real "WOF", people were more fascinated with Vanna's many different looks & styles than Pat's.

The hand placement on the second picture you just posted is everything! It looks so good!

The hand placement on the second picture you just posted is everything! It looks so good! Thank U so very much ! It wasn't easy at first, I had to erase her hands quite a few times until I got it down perfectly !
^ Here's another recent drawing of my version of the puzzle board. 1984 and I like to call this one the cover art of an upcoming "Wheel of Treasure" board game. Of Course, we all know that the very first "WOF" board game in the early Pat & Vanna days didn't come about until 1985 (this is make-believe, I made it up). As for the light border, I left it all golden yellow this time around (the dark brown added in on the previous picture, is the chasing light sequence, that's what I was trying to say on the other drawing).....
^ And here is a close-up of the lovely Princess Peach/Vanna is a "WILD" outfit that definitely says the 1980s (especially those legwarmers). I've always wondered who was the girl that was supposed to be Vanna on the 1980s Pressman board games....

Fantastic work, but now that you brought up the chasing lights information, there is one suggestion I thought I'd bring up. The gold-brown-gold-brown pattern looks really nice (I love the way it looks), but if you want a chasing sequence, I don't know if that would make the lights appear to go that way (it would look more like when one set of lights turn on, the other set turns off and vice-versa). If you did a gold-gold-brown-gold-gold-brown sort of pattern (or gold-gold-gold-brown-gold-gold-gold-brown), it would look a bit more like a chase sequence.
I'm trying to avoid sounding like I'm criticizing and I do apologize if I sound that way. After all, it's your choice, but it's something I thought I'd ask you about.

When I did the first puzzle board drawing, I started to do the gold-gold-brown, gold-gold-gold-brown pattern, I'll do that for the next one !

^ This isn't much, but want to keep this thread alive, I did this a while back, my version of the "Prize" wedges and they won't be just trips (I'll also include TV's, Motorcycles, Games, etc.)...... ^Go back to this drawing and look down at the wheel between the orange $500 & the turquoise $350, that's the "Prize" wedge with the above drawing
