I just found out something really interesting about Aussie Wheel's Bankrupt via this clip. Apparently no liftable wedges are lost to it.

I'm more tickled by the fact that, about a second or two into the clip, you can clearly see someone spinning the wheel to make it look automated.

This rule must have been temporary because I distinctly remember someone losing the million dollar wedge and the surprise wedge at the same time to it and they made a big deal of it too

As for what you said, fanfromflorida, this was from the elder 1981-2006 version, but I appreciate the info about that rule change for the 2008 revival because I don't recall hearing about that.

I'm surprised being the international Wheel buff that you are that you just now noticed this about Aussie's version haha. And FFF (fanfromflorida) is right, the rule was changed for the Campbell/Landry revival.

Well, the thing is that I never recalled seeing an episode where someone landed on Bankrupt with a wedge in hand.
Now I do have some small doubts that the host may have simply forgotten to ask for the wedge, but at the same time, it's a car wedge. It was always a big deal on Aussie's version when someone had something like that. So everyone would know he had it, and Rob would've remembered to ask for it back if the rules required him to do so.
