Hi guys! I can not find this in the FQA.
From September 04, 1989 Pat and Vanna walk out together, but
Since when walk out to puzzler board side?

They began entering from the puzzle board side of the stage since Season 13, the move to Sony.

But was it consistently from the puzzle board? I could have sworn that in the S13 premiere, they came from behind the wheel.

According to Video Archive Index the first episode that I saw where Pat & Wanna enter from Puzzle Board was 10/31/1996 (season 14)

I believe that during the time Wheel was at CBS they mixed up the entrances as entering from the puzzle board on hb (home base) shows were quite common but generally the wheel was used as i've seen in gsn reruns or yt clips. On road shows though Pat and Vanna always entered from the board side. This is slightly off topic i think but I'd like to see another switch up on the entrance 20 years of puzzleboard entrance gets stale. Maybe they can use center stage entrances again this time use a door prop and have different video wall backdrops for entrances (hey if Price takes cues from Wheel, turnabout is fair play or should i say free play? Haha) and maybe even trips, it'd make that video wall more useful and give the art department a chance to have some fun.

Actually, on the season 20 premiere, they both came in from opposite sides of the giant video monitor in the center of the stage.

It's been that long since an entrance like that? Wow. Still Entrance variety would be fun, i'd even like to see some audience entrances. It would make for some much need excitement never knowing how Pat and Vanna were going to enter and would provide an excellent element of freshness.

Actually, no. I know that a season 21 episode had them coming down a flight of stairs for the intro and the NFL players weeks almost always, I think, had them entering from opposite sides of the center stage monitor; Vanna on the left & Pat on the right.

I remember the flight of stairs one actually (due to Saturday reruns at the time my area no longer has 'em), that was the best entrance, but still it's been a decade since anything besides puzzle board has been done for them, they really should switch it up again, i'd even be fine with the classic from the wheel side or splitting it up again.
