Having been inspired by the Wheels made by @acegreen and tlc38tlc38, I've decided to make an update to the Wheel I had since 2008. Here's my old Wheel as it was seen just over a year ago. From peg to peg, it was one foot in diameter. From edge to edge, it was about 14 inches. germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-2014-Wheel-of-Fortune-Model-476575997Here's my new one. It's three feet in diameter (like @acegreen's is) yet relatively lightweight. It's made from foamboard, nails, and a plastic raised Lazy Susan. My dad cut the piece of foamboard into a circle, but other than that, it was all me. germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-2015-Wheel-of-Fortune-Model-565366695I'm continually updating my Wheel and giving it facelifts and improvements. In the meantime, enjoy.

What did you use for your flappers? Anyway we can get a close-up pic of the flappers?

For eybyon, I'm glad you do. I really wanted some more variety. So instead of having $300 has the smallest value for all rounds like it previously was on my version (not to mention the actual show's) I recently employed a $100-$200-$300-$500 structure. As for the $2300, it's inspired by the Sonic series; 23 is an significant number in the series. Sonic's first game came out June 23rd 1991, hence the blue numbering (all values $2000 and above have differently colored numbers). Sonic CD, Amy Rose's first game, was released September 23, 1993, hence the pink color. I also have a spot valued at $2900 (diamond blue with bright green numbering), which is only seen in Round 4. Along with those, $3000, $4000, $7500, and $10,000, I use every single four-digit value the show has used: $1000, $1250, $1500, $2000, $2500, $3500, $5000, and even $6000! As for tlc38tlc38, I made a video which includes the flipper's secrets. Sorry the video's a little rushed. My iPod's battery runs out of juice like within minutes when shooting video. There were no outlets nearby to keep it charged either.

Thanks for the video! I see that you have the rubber band going from side to side instead of from top to bottom. Maybe I need to try it this way to get my flappers to "flap" more easily.

Glad I was an inspiration! I'm working on some new projects right now, it'll be a few months before they're done. Excellent work!

Here's another video of my Wheel. I know you like the variety of dollar amounts, eybyon. So I added another value to the mix. This one's inspired by the $175 space seen on the Round 1 Wheels from 1975 to 1986 as well as Press Your Luck.

How long are the wedges. I've been thinking about upsizing mine.

Each wedge is almost 11 inches. I printed them on 8.5" by 11" cardstock paper.

I've got a lot of Prize wedges to show you guys. Here's what my old one looked like. It was styled like the neon green ones used from Seasons 12 to 13. germanname.deviantart.com/art/Germanname-August-2015-Concept-Round-1-Loaded-554414410Back in June, inspired by the Prize wedges used for the first couple weeks of Season 14, decided to give it some glitz. Unlike its early Season 14 counterparts, which were bronze with emerald lettering, my Prize wedge is emerald with Bronze lettering. germanname.deviantart.com/art/Germanname-June-2016-Round-1-Loaded-615552034That will be used for trinkets and gifts, and what not because last month, I decided to make even more Prize wedges for different types of Prizes. For example, here's the wedge that will be used for trips. Note this will not include cruises. germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Trip-Prize-Wedge-647661178I also decided to make some for different types of vehicles. Initially, I was going to style them like the other Prize wedges, but as time went on, I considered the high cost of vehicles which could give players runaway totals. Plus, I didn't want to give away car after car after car and cost the show so much money so easily. So I needed to make them harder to win. For that, I got inspiration from the Half-Car wedges used in April 2011 and I decided to style these Prize wedges after them. My vehicle Prize wedges will still be hard to win, but not as hard as their April 2011 counterparts as there is only one of these wedges. In fact, I find them about as hard to win as the Half-Car Tags used today. Note I am leaning against giving away SUVs and trucks, not because of their high price but because I feel their gas-sizzling nature makes more of a negative impact on the environment than that of cars and boats. As you can probably tell, you have to land on the center spot. If you're one peg off, you won't go Bankrupt like you would on the Million Dollar Wedge; you'll go for $500 per consonant occurrence instead. If you land on the sweet center spot, however, you'll be playing for the wedge as well as $500 per consonant occurrence. germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Car-Prize-Wedge-Frontside-648092955germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Boat-Prize-Wedge-Frontside-648094384germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Van-Prize-Wedge-Frontside-648094553germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-SUV-Prize-Wedge-Frontside-648094657germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Truck-Prize-Wedge-Frontside-648095083Now here's why my trips don't include cruises. As some of you may have guessed, I have a Prize wedge offering cruises. The famed ocean liner S.S. United States graces the face of this wedge. I actually shared this drawing on the S.S. United States Conservancy's Facebook page earlier today, and, much to my delight, they liked it! germanname.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-Cruise-Prize-Wedge-651976833

Made some more videos showing my model. The first also shows some other nice Wheel of Fortune stuff that I just got recently, including something that you have, MarioGS. The same video also shows some rare handheld systems that might interest some of you. The second video contains a spin on Chuck Woolery's taking a "look at our Wheel of Fortune."
