In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind a Palindrome category. Imagine someone buying an A if the puzzle is A MAN A PLAN A CANAL PANAMA.

Have they ever had a pun category, that would be funny or would it annoy contestants if the puzzle was something like eggravation

I played Wheel on the DS today, and I saw this puzzle. The category was Quotation, and the answer was "It was the worst of times." After solving the puzzle, I wondered, "Why not 'the best of times?'" That's what some story started with - a story I don't know the name of.
Then I thought about the category, "Next Line Please," and an idea for a category popped into my mind. How would "Previous Line Please" sound to you guys?

You're thinking of the book "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens, and no that would not be a good category.

no that would not be a good category. I disagree. I think that would be a good category. My category would be called DEFINITION. It's very simple. The puzzle is a brief, easy to understand definition of something. An additional $3,000 is given for correctly guessing what is being described. EX: ORANGE RUBBER BALL USED IN SPORTS Answer: Basketball

JJC, even if this wouldn't make a good category, one of the things I like doing when it comes to Wheel is throwing out even the most ridiculous ideas. If you saw my "Wheel of Stuffness" series over at DeviantArt, I have some ideas that aren't meant to exist in real life. So, please don't worry about whether my ideas are good or not. All right? As for Definition, woffan2008, it reminds me of Clue, only it's a lot easier to get. So, it's a pretty interesting idea.

Okay, you asked if we thought it sounded good to us, and now you're saying not to worry about whether or not your ideas are good?
And woffan, there's just no reason to have the category. Next Line Please is enough and makes more sense.

They had Proper Name as a sequel to Person, WAYD? as a sequel to Event, and Around the House as a sequel to In The Kitchen. Is it me or do you just hate sequels?
Previous Line Please is a sequel and I think it's a good idea.

They had Proper Name as a sequel to Person, WAYD? as a sequel to Event, and Around the House as a sequel to In The Kitchen. Is it me or do you just hate sequels? Previous Line Please is a sequel and I think it's a good idea. Some of the category sequeling/splitting just isn't necessary. They make some puzzles become too predictable and obvious. The only one I understand the show doing was splitting (not sequeling) Person into Proper Name for people's names and groups such as sports teams, and Person/People for generic terms since it eliminated the need for Pat to explain that person doesn't always mean proper name. I don't have a big problem with WAYD? but Event is now rarely seen because of it and many of the WAYD? puzzles are corny or strangely written in order to fit for a Prize Puzzle or the week's theme. Around the House is more than enough and it was unneeded to have In the Kitchen also.

Okay, a category inspired by the "What Are You Doing?" category, and that old, infamous "Slipped on a Banana Peel" puzzle.
My idea for a category based on this is "What Happened to You?"
But now, thinking about it, categories today are becoming more like questions.
