Hi gang, I discovered last night at the Thanksgiving dinner table that a friend was on Wheel in 1989. She taped in February and I know two puzzles on the show. I've done some quick research this morning, but I figured this might be a good place to start looking for help.  One puzzle was "NEW DEHLI INDIA" and the bonus round was "THE BIG CHILL." I checked the compendium for those puzzles, but no luck. I know much of Season 6 aired on GSN, so hopefully it's out there somewhere. Thanks for any and all help!  |

Of course it would be nice if we could narrow down the air date of her show even further. What was her first name and does she remember the names of either of her two opponents?
If you want, I can give you Wheel's contact information so that hopefully they can locate the episode and sell her a DVD of it. Legally, they can only sell it to her though, not you.

To be honest, my first thought was "Was it the daytime or nighttime show?" If it's nighttime, hey, good chance we can narrow it down (Charlie had returned to the show by the February '89 tapings). If it's daytime, it's the Rolf Benirschke era, and that's never been in reruns. John, if your friend still has any of her paperwork from her appearance, that could really help. |

Thanks for the replies! Her name is Carole (I believe there is an E). Not sure about anything else yet, other than she assured me it was nighttime.
