LOVE it, you look GREAT! Though, I need to see the bigger version! I'm assuming you just got it today? It would be cool to make little cards with that picture and mail them out to people like "save the dates"  And did you take any "action shot" photos of you acting like you're spinning the wheel? |

I got a one-photo "no" as well hah, but little did I and they know that the media would be asking for more. Now all I have to do is google image my name or "New baby buggy" for a high def profile pic from Wheel lol.

A few things: Did it become that much more labor intensive than in the past to send out a couple extra photos to everyone? It could even be an email list of that day's contestants. There's a set photographer, no? You'd think they'd want as many photos out there as possible to drum up excitement about the show/ratings. Where do hometown howdies fit into all of this? I never see them on my station, but everyone records one? Could you get this if you wanted? And this doesn't look like a press photo, but maybe there is a hidden wheel gallery. More likely a screen cap from a hometown howdie? |

Hometown Howdies are not available from the show directly, you would have to find a source at the station to be willing to provide it to you (which is how I got mine).
I'm just going to go out on a limb, but I'm wondering if the size of the pictures has made it fairly labor intensive to email them out to people. It's not like they use a cheap point and shoot camera, so those must be fairly large sized files, and even compressing them would take time. I got my personal shot and the group shot emailed to me; the rest being from the Facebook page, Instagram, etc.

The thing about group photos is that they seem to give that out if it's a specific themed week, such as College Week, Military Week or Father's/Mother's Day Week since they all have something in common as opposed to the normal themes like us randos.

levesp08 Yes, I got the group photo without asking. It was included with my individual (although the group photo was also posted on Facebook since it was for College Week) My profile pic I ripped from the photo they used next to my featured contestant blog entry.
