Hello BAV! Long time lurker, first time poster here.
I auditioned at the Austin, TX Wheelmobile event, received a callback, attended the callback audition, and was mailed a letter saying that I'll be a contestant. Yay!
On my audition form, I noted that I'd be interested in college week. I graduate in May 2016. Later, I saw college week come up on the season 33 air schedule here. Given that this was the first hint of college week I'd seen since season 29 (?) I thought I may be a shoe-in for that week. Now it looks like there won't be a college week then after all. I've seen 2 people I auditioned with on the show already.
I'm curious to y'all's thoughts on this. I know there are still lots of "TBA's" out there.

Hi, Jhume. Thanks for joining and congrats on getting accepted as a contestant!  College Week was initially announced for this season airing in April, but Sandals Resorts Week was moved to that week at the last minute, so we don't know whether the two weeks simply switched or if College Week is still being done at all this season, so that's why I have "TBA" for Sandals' original slot. A College Week had since been done in Season 31, but not Seasons 30 or 32. If you fit the criteria for a certain week, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll call you for that week. Quite often they accept more than just the necessary 15 or 18 contestants, so we often see teachers, members of the military, college students and contestants from cities that recently had remote tapings as contestants on not-so-special weeks. |

Thanks Mario! I've been pretty set on the whole "they HAD to choose me for college week" for a while now, haha. I'll keep y'all updated if I hear anything...

^ In the same boat as you, graduating May 2017 though. Time will tell, it should be taping soon I think.
