I've always been curious - how are the Saturday reruns of WoF selected? Does anyone know?

They have a special layout with all the episode numbers from last season - each one peg wide.
Before taping the first episode of the new season, Harry spends a half hour spinning to determine the order and shows that will be played on the weekends.
As you might imagine, tickets are very tough to get for this unique event.

^ Anyway, they do seem to pick the reruns from weeks that were not part of the summer weekday reruns. They'll usually make sure to include any episodes that had very notable or history-making events, like how this season we saw reruns of last season's million dollar winner and record-breaking maingame. Basically any episode that gave Wheel good publicity that didn't rerun already. Very rarely do episodes rerun twice. However, this season's Saturday feed seems to favor Monday shows. They also like to pick "holiday" episodes on the appropriate days. The Saturday before (or on) Halloween is almost-always an episode from last season's Halloween week, same with Mother's Day and Father's Day. The Saturday reruns are also the only times they rerun winter-themed episodes, usually between November and February. Secret Santa Sweepstakes episodes never rerun at all because they can't cleanly edit out the sweepstakes references like they can on other sweepstakes weeks where they're usually added in post-production. So all in all, it seems to be a mix of arbitrary and random selection among the episodes that didn't already rerun last summer.
