I think it would be enjoyable to watch a Wheel of Fortune Tournament of Champions. It would be great to see some of the great puzzle solvers over the years back competing again.
An idea I have would be for Wheel to hold auditions for a tournament of champions, open to anyone who has been a former contestant on Wheel. It seems like sometimes there are great puzzle solvers who just have bad luck with the wheel during their episode, and it would be cool to give everyone a chance at playing again. It might also be cool to make the game more puzzle-intensive and less about the luck of the Wheel.
Auditions inviting all former contestants might be tough to coordinate, but I think the result would be a tournament of some outstanding puzzle solvers and memorable personalities, which I think would be so much fun to watch! What does everyone think?

I like the idea for a Wheel Of Fortune tournament, but I doubt it will happen because of their budget. I remember reading an article about Pat saying they stopped having returning champions because those that have experience might end up having bad luck while those with little to no experience get lucky.

Also forgot to mention that it's only a once in a lifetime chance to be on the show as they want fresh new faces to play and spin the wheel.

I think they sorta had a tournament in Season 12, with "Some of the Greats" Week....if one can call it that. And if the "Friday Finals" format was similar to a tournament, I guess the same could also apply. Though of course, one of the finalists could be one that didn't solve their Bonus Round puzzle.

Think before you post, people.

Besides, a tournament of champions should only be for players that have made it to the bonus round. Everyone else that didn't make it should play an alternate tournament.
