This probably Vanda think about monitor and trilon era
When it was trilon era:
What a job, it's so exhausting. Especially somebody solve very..... early on very...very... long puzzle.
On monitor era:
What a job. It's boring, your job is just touch the monitor and done. There's no energy here. Your biggest job probably clapping and smiling.
Any ideas? Hate or love?

First off, Vanna does not have a "D" in her name.
Second, as much as I enjoy the letter turning days (which I truly miss to this day), it would be more efficient for Vanna to touch letters and when a player solves the puzzle, all the letters show in a split second. I remember one episode from back in the 1990s where a contestant called a T in a very big puzzle, and solved it in a heartbeat with just 7 T's. The puzzle was "TO BE OR NOT TO BE THAT IS THE QUESTION", and Vanna had to turn a record number of trilions after successfully solving a puzzle. Pat even volunteered to help out a bit. Besides, turning all those letters may cause stress over time, and maybe after another such occurrence, Vanna probably requested a more efficient puzzle board, given the popularity of computers nowadays, and if so, her wish was fulfilled in February 1997.
Maybe they did this to allow for slightly more gameplay (likely an effect coming from really great ratings that increased the prize budget), so to do that they had to make the puzzle board more time-efficient, plus the classic puzzle board would use a lot of energy whereas the computerized puzzle board would probably save on electricity plus it is environmentally friendly. That's probably why the classic game displays are being phased out nowadays in favor of computerized displays. Now if only the same thing could be done with the 1970s era prop on Race Game on The Price is Right.
As for my love vs. hate, I don't love the new computerized puzzle board myself, but I don't hate it either. Besides, hate is a strong word, in my honest opinion.

Too bad at that time they don't have automatic spinner so when it solved. It will revealed it self. Please read the scale at first post
We know that all 4 letter joint at the same pole. With a bar separate those 4 letters, it can spin freedom without affecting other letter
If was Vanna. Screen will be boring. But turning letters will be stressful. What on your mind. Should we have trilon with 3 sides has a monitor each? It's will effect the budget but less on electricity
So what's the best solution?

I got an Idea. Why there's some backstage staff that help from the back side of the board to help Vanna spin the trilon when solve. Of course those staff will be using all-black clothes
