Spinning story - through pictures

The pictures were a great way to commemorate your "Wheel" experience, Kevin! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!

I'm the one who made the name tag template for Kevin. It's more than just typing in the name, though. If you want, I could walk you through it. For Kevin, I just sent him the file I used for my party and he just fiddled around with it for a couple of days.

If you're serving food, I made placards for each dish in the form of partially-filled Food & Drink puzzles.




Also, as you probably saw, Kevin played a "Toss-Up Game" for everyone to shout out answers for prizes. I can send you the presentation if it's no trouble to hook up a laptop to a TV.

What about the "Solid and Dressings"?

AND HOW AM I JUST NOW FINDING OUT YOU MADE "FOOD AND DRINK" PLACARDS?! What happened to you copying and pasting your whole viewing party to me.  By the way MarioGS , you need to make a post about your viewing party because it was amazing.


And yes, the "free for all" Toss-Up game was a huge hit. One of my aunts said, "That was so much fun Kevin! I was so nervous playing at the watch party. Can't imagine what it was like in person!" Um yeah, ok.  I gave out $1 scratch-off tickets to each person that yelled out the answer first. Controversy erupted when I thought someone said the correct answer (BILLY JOEL) when they in fact said "BILLY IDOL." Fun times. Here's a short clip of it in action:

MarioGS, the viewing party will be at a restaurant/bar, so unfortunately no placards for food & drink!
Also, since it is also the night we host Trivia, there is no telling how many people will show up. Friends and Family would be very do-able for some of the fun games, etc. but with us possible expecting 50+ people, I think it will just be too unwieldy.
Some of our regular trivia players said they are going to wear formal dresses to imitate Vanna... we will see if they end up doing that. I am going to wear what I wore on the show that night.
Great idea about the Closed Captioning on the TVs though -- not sure I would have thought of that.
My cardboard cut-out of Pat and Vanna turned out great -- will post pictures soon although it definitely looks better in person than in the photo!
I want to order a cake using a Wheel photo-image -- did I see you say earlier or on another thread that the bakery couldn't use the one you originally provided? Do you have a good file to use for it?
Hopefully going to work this weekend on a lazy-susan wheel. We will see what I am able to find and how it might work.
Worked for a bit last night on a name tag template using mailing labels. Still have to play around with it a bit more so they are a little more authentic looking.

Getting really excited and hope everyone that attends has as good a time and enjoys the experience as much as I did!
