Hi, I've been a fan of WOF since I was a kind, however I have one concern I'd like to address.
Does anyone know why when someone hits a mystery wedge and they call a letter, they don't show where the letter is in the puzzle until moments letter. That has been one of my biggest pet peeves this season. (It didn't happen as much last season, because I've noticed in weekend repeats that they would show the puzzle when someone hits a mystery wedge.) But I like to play along at home and figure out what a contestant should do if they hit a mystery wedge, but one of the deciding factors is usually whether or not the contestant knows the puzzle.
But how do we know if they know the puzzle if we can't see the puzzle. Anyway, sorry my first post here is a vent about this. I have written to Sony pictures about that as well and I was wondering if anyone else had the same complaint. Plus it's not just with the mystery wedges. When a contestant hits a prize wedge or a half car wedge or whatever, the letter they call isn't shown until moments later. I just feel like they're not being fair to the home viewers who want to play along and try to solve the puzzle. But they're not realizing that home viewers can't see what the contestants can see. (Heck, even showing the used letter board might be a good idea every once in a while.)
Again, I just needed a place to vent about that, because that's something that's been driving me crazy this season. But anyway, thank you all for listening.
