These two episodes just surfaced courtesy of Eirik. www.youtube.com/watch?v=874LXR1pyYsThe 11/9 episode is the actual debut of a slash, not 10/26 as the Wiki states. Said episode also confirms that Double Play was NOT vulnerable to Bankrupt.

The Bonus Round puzzle on 11/9 (FLIP-FLOP), does that count as one word or two? Since, if that's one word, it'd be an extremely-rare instance of a one-word phrase.

I just noticed that 11/10 has a prize added in R3. Was it normal at the time to have a R3 prize if the R2 prize and Surprise were both off by the end of R2?

I was able to watch these eps today! I love WOF from the 90s! So glad I was able to see these before they get pulled.
I also love the 90s commercials...they're not "in your face" like the ones from today.

Awesome overhead shots of the Wheel are awesome! And the intro music? Just as awesome!

I was awed by the shots of the Wheel layout on top of the Space Needle and always wondered if that was permanently there. Being that the current show has a Seattle week right now that isn't on the road just isn't the same, especially without the hometown audience which is the real reason why I miss road shows the most. Thousands of people versus a couple hundred makes a huge difference, and even a $900 hit can draw quite a reaction.
Even with Bankrupt immunity, I still feel that Double Play didn't have much meaning since earning it in the first place means no money, and then using it means that on average your return will just break even. That's why I'm glad Wheel has the $500 on most cardboard/prize spaces rule and with the Wild Card, you can use it anytime after a successful spin (in addition to having safety from landing on a penalty space).
