I really have to thank MarioGS for this. He posted on Facebook that if you want to be invited for the Brooklyn audition, apply now. So I applied in the dead of night, uploaded my headshot, and I'm happy to say that I also got the magic email that I will be attending the private invite only audition in Brooklyn on June 21.

Thanks, everyone. I've been practicing a lot as of late, using the Wii U game as my test subject. I will be posting my "test logs" shortly. (One game per entry.)

Congratulations! I am going to sound like a broken record, but if you haven't done it already, please see ten96lt fantastic write-up of the audition process. I firmly believe having a good idea of how the process was going to roll-out helped me to relax and to be myself!

I also recommend getting to the audition as early as you can to ensure you are in one of the first few rows, to sit up in your chair, smile and make eye-contact, and to be genuinely enthusiastic! Nearly everyone at my audition was a good player -- the contestant coordinators are looking for the good players that will be entertaining as well! If you haven't already thought about what you would say in your "Pat Chat" please at least have something in mind. If you are selected to stay for the "after test" portion you will be asked to do it. I didn't have any idea of what to say and really felt like I had blown the audition by rambling when to my ear everyone else seemed so smooth. I'm not saying to rehearse something, but at least have an idea of what you are going to say!

One thing that I didn't realize was that the contestant coordinators at the audition are the ones that you see when you go to tape your show! I guess I thought they had a "road team" that went out and made recommendations to the CCs back in the studio. So be sure to be nice!!!!

Same for me Leaf. Funny enough, you sat in the same spot I sat in 2 days prior to your audition. I feel very confident that I might get the magic letter.

I'd love to know too! I got my letter back in April (from the same audition as pictroy) and I've been so excited and also curious as to how other auditions in other cities are run and I get jist as excited waiting for everyone to get their magic letter as I was waiting for mine!!

UPDATE: I have received my Tape after waiting just a little over a year! I will be taping on August 24th, with the episode to air near the start of November (maybe Halloween if I get lucky). Ironically, when I got the e-mail yesterday, it would have been my Granddad's 80th birthday. With the way events have been lining up, I've got quite a few angels sitting on both my shoulders. All that's left is CRUNCH TIME.
