If the envelope has the show's name on it with Sony Pictures Television underneath it on the left with a stamp that says U.S. Postage for 48 cents on the right, then that means you've been picked, which means you have to wait for 18 months for a taping date, which will be sent via e-mail or phone call and they'll be sending you a package from FedEx. It took me nearly 4 weeks to get that letter and I had to wait 5 months for a taping date.

I would say don't stress out too much about the 2 weeks (easier said than done, I know). Us Denver folks had a pretty brutal wait; as Eugene said, it was nearly 4 weeks! Don't overthink it! It can easily take longer than the 2 weeks they say it'll take.

I also want to stress the importance of checking your e-mails! I never got a letter, but 19 days after my final audition I got an e-mail not only telling me that I had been selected as a contestant, but that my taping date would be in 16 days! My friend adamdmd received his letter 15 days after the final audition, and is patiently (!) awaiting word about his taping date! Good luck!

The envelope itself is pretty basic. The return address is the only identifiable markings. The Philly audition had a no-mail holiday thrown in so it took a little over two weeks for us. Good luck!
