Yes, they do. They don't do too much with hair other than a few sprays, though, so go to your stylist a day or two before you head out to LA.

The letter advises you to come to the studio as if you were going to tape right away. I bought some expensive make-up and my daughter did a great job getting me ready that morning -- I would say just use whatever make-up you normally do but to do your hair the way you want it. The make-up artists (I had Sandy) will just make you look like a better version of yourself! I didn't even get called for hair -- I believe they only do touch-ups to hair as I didn't see anyone get their look transformed...

I remember during a taping of my game with Lisa and Lee, they had the make-up people on stand by. They had to put extra make-up on me because of the sweat on my face and nobody wants to see a contestant sweating on national television.  |

^ Wear dark colors with a white T-shirt underneath and try not to lift your arms high... I was sweating through my navy blue jacket by the second show of the taping. I decided to take it off during show 4 and also kept "cleaning" the stains with wet napkins. It worked well enough. Speaking of which, a couple more tips: bring a travel-size lint roller and if you wear glasses, bring a backup pair. |
