Hi wheelies!
Can I expect to see anyone else who attended the Wheelmobile Event in May, Mulvane, KS, at the formal invitation auditions on July 21st?

I think I did well at the final auditions. I immensely enjoyed my entire experience. From the moment I woke up until I went to bed I had a smile on my face. The contestant coordinators told a lot of people that day to smile, remember to smile, show some enthusiasm... But they never had to tell me. The reality of being so close to being on a show I have watched for over 30 years was an automatic reason to smile and made for a perfect day! I admit the written test was hard. I had a hard time on some trying to determine if there was a space between or if it was a continuation of a word. In the end, my name was the last called for the second round of those they wanted to stay a bit longer. I was ecstatic because I wanted to experience every portion of the auditions, after all it was a 3 hour drive to the auditions! I ended up solving a few puzzles, have an awesome wheel of fortune T-shirt and test pencil to go along with my hat, keychain and blinky wheel I got at the Wheelmobile event in May. I showed the coordinators a little of my puzzle solving ability and also knowledge that the wheel is over 2400 pounds when it was my turn to spin the imaginary wheel. I clapped so much my hands were sore the next day but they sure weren't sore when I was at the audition... way too much adrenaline to feel any thing except pure excitement and enjoyment! Now we all are at the stalking-the-mailbox stage while trying to act nonchalant about the possible letter arrival. With a well worn path to the mailbox and fingers crossed, I wish the best for everyone who was at the auditions!
