Did some work converting parts of my collection over from DVD to hard drive-based storage, and it seemed like a great time to upload some Wheel for everyone. Rather than spam with multiple posts, I thought I'd consolidate my upload batch into one mega-post.
January 11, 1989:
(Airdate is per the comment about Reagan's farewell speech. Original broadcast. )

Several interesting things here: Pat wears a ridiculous set of glasses in the early stages of the show, a contestant picks the annuity as her bonus prize, and Vanna does the goodbyes essentially solo, encouraging us all to not be litterbugs. Plus original commercials.
January 25, 1991
(Airdate is per my own notes. Summer rerun.)

Fairly generic episode for the most part, but 1990-92 gets some of the least love among uploaders and traders of shows from the first 15 years of the PM run, having never been rerun and not being the celebrated shopping format.
September 5, 1994 - 12th Season Premiere
(First show of the season, obviously. From GSN ca. 2008)

It's Teen Week. Debut of easily my favorite puzzle board, and the first of twenty shows with the flashing spikes. A close look at the bottom corners of the board also hints that at least two spikes near the bottom were removed late in the process, as the golden grid texture's a bit off (and in the shape of spikes)
September 4, 1995 - 13th Season Premiere
(First show of the next season. From GSN ca. 1999)

First show from Sony Pictures Studios. First show with the sequin green $1,000 wedge. First show with the Double Play. Wheel used the road show board for the first two weeks of S13 (I've got 9/11/95, it's there too) while the S12 board was being refurbished (already) to remove the light spikes and to make the board look closer to the traditional design from prior to 1994. Also, Round 1 may be the single worst round I've ever seen.
May 30, 1996 - Olympic Salute (Thursday)
(Late Season. Olympic Salute week. Mid-1997 weekend rerun. Ignore the audio issues in the beginning. VHS is wonderful)

Probably the 30th; [ossibly the 29th. It's definitely from the 5/27 Olympic Salute week, it's definitely not Monday or Friday. Pat's comment about big winners implies Thursday or an outside chance of Wednesday [5/29]. Late in the season, and we're already using the Friday Finals format even though it's, sans Olympic theming, a fairly ordinary week. $1,000 Slogan is still in use. Bonus prize? A prize package worth almost $50K. Plus, a contestant gets "Zinc". Also, as a weekend rerun, features a rather interesting promo promoting the show's recent retooling from 1997 near the end.
