Oh, I never realized that's where the Netherland's version first taped, but it's no wonder that their version looked so much like Belgium's version now that you mention it. I know that Holland's gilder values paralleled Belgium's franc values.
Now just so you know for next time, you don't have to use the red quote button all the time, especially if you're making a reply. If you want to make a reply, the blue reply button is what you want to use. Other than that, welcome to the Buy A Vowel Boards.

Yes they used the Belgium studio at first in 1989. Probably for making pilots in the first year to see if they also will be succesfully in the Netherlands or because their own set we're going under construction. The wheel are both exactly the same with the colors, also the background colors (except for the Amounts ofcourse)! But the puzzleboards are very different from each-other but did used both the same blue glitter. Belgians had a darker tone than the Netherlands... The Belgians used more extremely glitters to the set, which the Netherlands don't have so much on it including the middle circle of the wheel! Also if you look good at the dutch puzzleboard, it's more likely a crown shaped puzzleboard 2 more days and the new Wheel version will be on TV

To quote on that, André Hazes jr. is the son of the most greatest dutch folk-singer André Hazes which he passed away in 2004 due to depressed and drinking problems!

Just watched the show, very nicely done but also going so fast.
Each round starts with the toss up round.
While the wheel is spinning, a music melodie will play along (melody from a song which a candidate can guess to it).
LED Lights flashes through the whole studio, while the wheel is spinning, the puzzle is solved, going onto bankrupt or winning some fabulous prizes.
The highest top value Euro on the wheel of each round is: Round 1 €500 (orange), Round 2 €1000 (silver) and Round 3/4 €1500 (copper)
Pubieksprijs: When a candidate lands on the Publieksprijs wedge, each audience gets a prize to go home with.
Bonusround/finale: Candidate gets 4 consonants and 1 vowel from the host and then the candidate can call out 2 more consonants and 1 vowel.

I was right about that silver wedge being 1000 euros, but I couldn't have imagined one worth 1500. Well, anyway, thanks for telling us how it all works.
I'm still trying to find the font that the Wheel uses, but I've just found some fonts that look promising and may lead me in the right direction. Once I figure out the exact font, I'll let everyone know.

I think I just hit paydirt. If I'm right, the Wheel's font is "Avenir Next Heavy Condensed."
BTW, I just saw a photo on Facebook that suggests the value underneath that Pubieksprijs wedge is 200.

Hey I'm already uploading the video onto my youtube channel. Just downloaded from the website channel of programs that I can look back. Hopefully that you'll have access to watch it for yourself, also there is dutch commercial in between If I look back to it underneath the second Bankrupt lies the 'Verliesbeurt' (Lose a Turn) and underneath 'Publieksprijs' lies indeed the €200 blue wedge

A couple of episodes have uploaded by a channel interestingly called "Rad Van Fortuin." I don't know how long they'll be up. So enjoy them while you still can. BTW, in both episodes, the winning players are choosing to double their money in the Bonus Round. For everyone's info, If they were playing for a car, only T, N, and E would be given for free and the contestant would choose only one consonant and one vowel. So with all that said, will both of these two players be able to double their winnings?

Well, I knew it was only a matter of time before SBS stepped in, but I have some information to share with you guys.
Each round starts with a 100-euro Toss-Up, but the one who solves it has to solve the main puzzle (without hitting Bankroet) to keep the cash, similar to France's recent version.
Instead of doing all three contestant interviews at the beginning of the game, each contestant has his or her interview when in control for the first time.
Every time the Wheel is spun, it plays a musical melody via the arrow of the contestant in control clapping off the Wheel's pegs.
When a Prize or Joker is landed on, the player immediately picks up the wedge and plays for the amount underneath, just like the American version's rules from 1983 to 1990.
What I do not know, however, is how vowels are treated during the main game. Are players allowed to even buy them, and if so, for how much? If players are allowed to buy vowel, are they allowed to do so when there are no more consonants to be found in the puzzle?

Rad van Fortuin will be having an permanent puzzleboard Assistant per October 17th, after having a female/male every week. Stephanie Tency (25), Miss Netherlands 2013, will be the new assistant Andre Hazes jr. At the SBS 6 program Wheel of Fortune. This confirms SBS6 on this site, after reports of weekend. The blonde is seen for the first time on Monday, October 17th in her new role. SBS initially opted for an ever-changing sidekick for Andre Hazes Jr. ,, With the introduction of the program, we wanted to surprise with different faces and ordinary people, "a spokesman of the transmitter explains. ,, And a half month later, we want the viewer to build and bond with a permanent assistant." Stephanie is especially chosen because of her appearance. ,, She's just such a beautiful appearance as Vanna White and therefore a perfect successor. " The program, (based on the American success story Wheel of Fortune), from 1990 to 1998 to see every day on RTL 4. It was a great success with Hans van der Togt as a presenter and Leontine Ruiters which turned the plates. This year, Andre Hazes Jr. got. The honor to breathe new life Wheel of Fortune.

So they double your main game winnings if you solve the bonus round puzzle... seems a little lazy. That's really my only complaint. I got more joy out of trying to identify the songs that played when they spun the wheel with the classic 8-bit sounding notes

Yes they double or triple up the winnings into the Bonus round! If you double it and you solve the puzzle correctly within 10 seconds, it's yours... If not, you're still safe with the winning amount through-out the rounds. The same goes for if you triple up the money, but when you solve it uncorrectly or not within 10 secondes, you loose everything... Before that you could choose by double up the winning amount or win a car, kitchen or a furniture shoppinggift of €10.000 But who knows in the near future if the gameshow is so succesfully and on long time running, that they could place a small wheel like in other versions lol They're now up to 80 Episodes including tonight (they will reach out episode 100 around the 2nd week of january 2017) About the songs on the wheel, most of them are by dutch artists and some of well known songs throughout the world like the Axel Foley Beverly Hills cop melody, Europe's Final Countdown song and Beethoven's Für Elise and so on
