www.youtube.com/watch?v=haGPt-tXqT8Here is the 1st episode of the Wheel of Fortune in the Netherlands from 1990 Back then they used the Belgium studio (notice the wheel lay-out where the car stands onto with belgium francs amount and ofcourse the back-grounds) Don't know if they wanted to use 1 Wheel of Fortune studio for Belgium and the Netherlands or the studio was already going under construction in the Netherlands

Nice, and a very interesting way to start that country's series. And it was Monday, February 26, 1990? Yours truly was introduced to the world just four days later.
By the way, yes, I was able to get the Bonus Puzzle.

What I do not know, however, is how vowels are treated during the main game. Are players allowed to even buy them, and if so, for how much? If players are allowed to buy vowel, are they allowed to do so when there are no more consonants to be found in the puzzle? Per the game play in this video, yes, for €500 (which is quite high compared to the values on the wheel!). I don't believe the video answers your other question, unfortunately.
