Alrighty, well, 30+ years ago, my Dad and my Opa (German for grandfather) rounded out a piece of cardboard and I went to work on my own Wheel of Fortune. Prepping for my viewing party at the house, I've decided to do it again. This time, a little more accurate. I'm using a 32" diameter piece of wood, and quickly going through what I've found on here and online on how to make one. If anyone has suggestions or tips, it will be greatly appreciated. To the designers who made those wheels and wedges, thank you a TON.

That kind of reminds me of something I used to do as a kid. I too have been a die-hard Wheel fan for 30+ years.

Looking at what's visible of the Wheel in that old photo, and just wanted to give props for having the $2,000 wedge on there.

Thanks you two. Yeah I've been a long time fan. And well, I'd likely planning on doing a custom layout (bringing back $750, $1500, $2000 as seen) on the current style, but not sure how to go about getting it printed out. Would the big printer at Kinko's work out?
So far, I have the board that needs to be rounded along with the turntable (Lazy Susan) and have to cut 72 pegs.

If you have access to a color printer, I suggest using the site rasterbator.net -- it worked great for me making a cardboard cut-out of Pat and Vanna for my viewing party! I just bought some spray glue and it worked wonderfully -- for a fraction of the price of Kinko's! Good luck!

Wheel is complete! I think I covered all the years I've been watching. Thanks to the designers who did this. I played with this on Photoshop.

Very nice. I like how you made a blend of the $750-$800-$300-$200 segment from Round 1 with the $700-$500-$800-$300 segment from Round 3/4. That was something I tried doing one time.

Very, very nice!! What did you use for your spikes? How big is it? Used a 1/2 wooden stick and cut them about 3 inches I believe. The wheel is 36" in diameter.

I really like the look of your wheel. 36" would be a dream for me since mine is only 24".
Do you plan to make 3 podiums or just have one?
