Not sure if round 1 began with yellow's flapper still on pink $650 but that's where it was when the show opened and during the contestant interviews. Good catch. Not only that, but the flippers were touching the pegs when they're usually placed dead-center. First time in a while that the Wheel wasn't preset. I don't recall it happening at all last season, nor in S32. I wondered why Erik's spin seemed strong yet weak. Even so, Erik's spin was a whopping 31 wedges! You don't see that strong a spin too often in the modern-day era. Congrats, Erik! I had the BR with RSTLNE though I was a bit worried when your picks didn't get much additional help. Then again, there aren't many possibilities for "_ _ E". Not sure about my wheel strength, might've been an editing thing with the audio of my spins? I gave it my all on all my spins, and they did say that maybe you'll get one revolution around, but 31?! SWEET! I will say the shoulder did feel a little sore at the end of the day. LOL they aren't kidding when they say the wheel is heavy! I had _IE in my head the whole time and would've been bad if I was saying Feeling A Toe or something haha

My highlights: - puckguy14 , of course! Congrats on winning HUGE MONEY! You were such a delight to watch! So likable, in fact, that Pat ended up having an extra long chat with you and someone on Twitter called you the Ken Bone of Wheel! - At the start of TU1 when Pat said "almost" in response to Vanna's surprise to the rightmost letter in the puzzle being closer to her than she had expected. Yeah, it helps being a hockey fan! When they interviewed me for my Pat Chat card, I made sure to mention I was a huge hockey fan and they asked me which team, to which I said the San Jose Sharks (hence the teal shirt) to which the coordinator, said, oh my Pat is a huge LA Kings fan. Sure enough, he had a field day with the teal (hence the Mr. Teal reference and "he's going to the bonus round, and I'm going to go with him, even if he is a Sharks fan") and in the first commercial break (before they reshot the open walk out) he came to me and said, "I still haven't forgiven the Sharks for what they did to my Kings in the playoffs last year." (FTR, San Jose and Los Angeles are huge hockey rivals) And to be honest, come on Pat, let's grab a couple of beers and talk hockey! I almost took him on that offer.

There might've been a pickup, or they re-shot the entire opening for some reason down to the contestant interviews. puckguy14 , care to elaborate? Nope, the only thing we re-shot was Pat and Vanna walking out because of the graphic behind them didn't show up. Toss Ups, Interviews and Round 1 shot then we re-shot the walk out.

Having into account that the Final Spin was $800 you may be right. The BR puzzle was fairly easy... With RSTLNE I thought that it was MAKING A PIE, but when Erik picked M and it wasn't in the puzzle I wondered what it could be... Since I remembered that you can also say BAKING A PIE. Anyway, congratulations! It was a good show, except for the poor Peggy. At least she didn't end up winning the pity thousand. Exactly why I called a M, if it wasn't an M, maybe it's B. But happy Peggy won the final round. She was so nice and as you saw, congratulated me before Pat came back.

^I also noticed that... I forgot to mention it. Red's flapper stared out on $800 and the final spin ended up on $800. I bet they reshot the opening sequence for some reason. That'd be weird shooting the opening after the winner has already been determined... Oooh good eye! Didn't notice that until just now, that it landed on there. Speaking of wedges, I wonder what they do with them? I'd love to get that Pacific Northwest wedge!

I don't have anything against you, I was just worried because of the low amount of BR solves. Well done, Erik!

I've noticed a lot of the same prize wedges are reused.

HIT THE GROUND RUNNING was used as a $1,000 Toss-up puzzle in season 31 (1/13/14 episode).
That's also the episode with the runaway oreo mystery wedge that Pat put over the red $700 instead of the blue $300.
