I felt like mine in Boston did today too!! There was one at 9am and one in the afternoon too. There were only 41 people in the morning session, and 23 were asked to stay. I feel like that much less than the usual starting # (due to the rescheduling to today because of yesterday's storm, I'm sure) and a few more than the usual # after the cut (in my experience). They did mention that Wheel Across America: Boston week would be taped "sometime in April." Ugh, the 2ww is bbbbbrrrruuuuutttttaaaaaallllll!!!!!! The wait is brutal and I hope you get the letter. However, I want to give you a heads up that if you make it to the contestant pool you might not get chosen for Boston Week. I tried out in Philadelphia 10/28/15 and got the letter 11/16/15. They mentioned Philadelphia Week was to tape in March 2016. I thought for sure I would be on then. But I never got the email for Philadelphia Week. I write this on 2/12/17 and I still have yet to receive a tape date. Again if you do get the letter I hope you get to play during Boston Week but don't think it's a forgone conclusion.

Thank you, woffreak82, I did know that. I've been following the process closely for over 10 years from the outside having auditioned 5x during that time, and heard a million stories about how this can go, from a 10 day turn-around, to a wait like yours (which sucks, I'm sorry to hear you're still waiting) on this and other boards. I'm cool with any scenario, I was just mentioning what was said by the contestant coordinators about Boston week at my audition because the taping/airing schedule I'd seen about season 34 did not list a week that Boston would be taped, so I thought I'd help narrow it down. I hope you get your call for a tape date soon, no one knows brutal waits more than you!!!!

Now I really hope you get the letter after learning you went through 5 auditions. My road to the wheel started with my first glance of the show 33 years ago and being mesmerized by the spinning wheel and the flashing lights. Then the urge got stronger after I learned my cousin was going to be on (back in 1990). Between then and my first audition in 2008 I picked her brain about gameplay strategy. Unfortunately she died shortly after my second audition in 2012. Finally, the third time was the charm as I was armed with her name tag from the show at the final audition as a good luck charm. I believe she guided me Stage 11 which is what's making this wait all the more agonizing. I thank you for your support and I hope extra hard now that you get your letter.

Has anybody heard back after the auditions on February 8th? Two weeks has come and gone, so I'm starting to lose hope!

Nothing yet. Hang in there, stevenw. Keep in mind there were 2 final auditions in Boston that day, and 2 on Friday 2/10 so it technically hasn't been 2 weeks for the 2/10 people. Many people over the years who DID eventually get a letter got it 2.5-3 weeks after their final audition. Says the girl who is also waiting, and is waiting for the letter for the 5th time, but it not quite ready to give up hope and move on to try #6....

Three weeks (as of yesterday) have now passed so, sadly, I have to say, I think the WOF ship has sailed for me for a 5th time. So so so disappointing. Has ANYONE from the 2/8 or 2/10 callback auditions received a letter inviting them to be a contestant? The reality is I should have heard by now, but not having heard from someone else who DID hear a positive response, it's hard to completely give up hope!
