Advanced thanks for any insight on what I should do to increase the likelihood that I'll be chosen as a contestant or any input on what I should expect going into it. If this topic has already been covered extensively, I apologize!

Welcome aboard, theeighthjuror! Congrats on getting your second audition invite. There are plenty of tips and advice available in this thread, so feel free to click through that. If you have any more specific questions, I'm sure we've got people here (myself included) that would be happy to answer them.

...input on what I should expect going into it. First impressions matter so dress to impress but look normal (not formal). Think business casual. Also, you need to show enthusiasm the entire time. They need to see that you'll be a good sport and keep cheering for your competition. Make sure you are clapping for everyone and don't look board when they're talking to other people at the audition. My hands were killing me by the end of the audition. I even joked with one of the casting team when they did a quick q&a while waiting for the rest of the people to return from the break and asked "how do your hands not hurt from clapping so much?"

If you have any more specific questions, I'm sure we've got people here (myself included) that would be happy to answer them. I totally credit the referenced thread with my selection to the show -- I feel like I had a leg-up on the other potential contestants because I knew what to expect, so I was more confident and calm. Also, I think it is super important to sit in one of the first couple of rows so they can see you better and you're not just another face in the crowd so to speak. So if you can get there early and be one of the first in the door, I highly suggest that! And the time really goes fast for the "test", so if a puzzle doesn't jump out at you right away, move on to the next and come back to it. Also, fill in letters where you think they make sense -- that shows them you have an understanding of the game even if you aren't able to solve. Most of all have fun! It is such a great experience. I am so happy that I did it! Good luck! Kathy

Ditto to all of the above including the amazing linked thread. It's great knowing what you're going to do before you get there.
And to reiterate what iroc said, know you are being watched the whole time. I think not realizing that is why I didn't make it the first time around (and being a naive 19-year-old). I think this is especially important when people around you are playing their turn. React to bankrupts, 5,000s, correct letters, EVERTHING. If a solver is adjacent to you, give them a high five because why not. Just have fun!!! (Easier said than done I know, but they genuinely want people that at least look like they're having fun). And yes, get their early -- front row can't hurt!
Best of luck!
