Something I wish wasn't thrown out of the show altogether was the Double Play token. If it were to come back, I would give it more functionality, make it usable in the Bonus Round (like the Wild Card) to play for double the dough.
Say if you landed on and picked up the Double Play, you could either use it before your next spin, or hold on to it for later. If you win the game and have the token in your hands, you can play for up to $200,000! However if you have the Million Dollar Wedge, you could win TWO MILLION DOLLARS!
So does anyone like this idea? Do you think it will work in today's format? Or do you think it would be too overpowered and result in loss of revenue for the franchise?

I liked the DP token back in the day but I feel the Wild Card is just an updated, better version of DP.

Harry Friedman and/or Sony would never allow for the Double Play to potentially give out a cash minimum of $70,000 (if the idea was implemented next season).

I remember hearing that Sony didn't want the Free Play app to have the DP, despite other retired wedges being on there. Plus I think Pat hated it the first time around, so i doubt it'd be back. (as well as budget)
