do you know if WABC/KABC or any of the NBC or CBS affiliates will do a one-hour special editions of President Trump's swearing in? I'll get Wheel on WABC NY and KABC LA Ch. 7 this Friday! Is anybody else affected? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!  |

I get Wheel on NBC (WXIA Atlanta) and I know that NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt will be a special 1 hour edition so I'm assuming it'll be aired on My Network TV (WATL) which is NBC's sister channel in my area. I've got my DVR set to record at 7pm on both channels just in case.

The inauguration is going to be during the day. CBS isn't airing any coverage at all. NBC is airing coverage from 10AM-3PM and an extended edition of NBC Nightly News from 6:30-7:30PM Eastern. ABC is airing coverage from either 9-4 or 11-4 (my affiliate has the 9-11 hours listed as TBA in place of Live with Kelly and Rachel Ray). So the only Wheel airings that should be affected are at 7:00 PM Eastern on NBC affiliates, and as is usually the case when any of the big three 6:30 news shows do an hour-long edition, affiliates may choose to air the regular 7:00 programming instead of the second half.
