I'm very certain this was from September 27. I missed the premiere episode because I didn't know the show aired on Sundays (instead of Saturdays) in Chicago until the following week. The first episode I watched (and taped) was the one with Jessica, Lea, and Dwayne. The second episode I watched and taped was very likely this one.

There were several cities that aired Wheel 2000 on Sunday mornings, so your station may be amongst the localities that aired on Sundays. See, Wheel 2000 taped 2 shows a day and the cards hidden in David's part of the pedestal with the logo on it debuted on the 2nd or 3rd taping day(right after they installed the corresponding colored bulbs). If I had to venture, I'd say that Wheel 2000 began filming in July(around the time J! began having players wear clip-on mics when they vanished the mics from the lecterns) and there were 11 taping days in all and filmed about 4-5 hours to complete one episode, quite often, they stopped tape between landing on a stunt wedge and the stunt reveal(there was a storyline about Wheel 2000 shown on GSN's Game TV).
