Trey Glauser back in March 2010 on his Facebook page posted a roughly 20 minute clip of highlights of three episodes of daytime Wheel from 1982 featuring CHuck Glauser, who was on the show for the maximum three days. Susan Stafford is still on the show, and Chuck Glauser says in one of the Facebook comments that he and Sajak watched Vanna's audition, so the episodes are probably from September or October 1982(between September 6th and October 22nd), and the first two episodes at least are from the same week of shows as they have the same prizes available.

Seems to be Thursday-Friday-Monday based on the car changing for the third show. And yeah, definitely post-September 3 given the brown-leaf tree is present. Seems this guy set the one-day record, based on Pat's comments. Final Spins still use the overhead Wheel shot zooming in on the red arrow (flashing in both cases here), as was the case on the September '82 shows that have been around for years. Trey Glauser back in March 2010 on his Facebook page posted a roughly 20 minute clip of highlights of three episodes of daytime Wheel from 1982 While the fact they were edited down "for brevity" (and #3 barely even shows up) did bother me a bit, something's always better than nothing and it didn't really feel like anything was missing gameplay-wise. I'm just wondering how we managed to miss this for seven years. Seriously, thanks for tracking this down.

Susan's hand and body gestures were downright funny.

I take it you've never seen a Stafford episode before. Those were par for the course for her.

^Yes, I've seen a few episodes with Susan but that hand gesture before the first PHRASE puzzle was a real doozy.

In her final episodes, you can really see where Susan has lost total interest in being there. It's almost as if she is forcing herself to turn the letters. Not much expression on her face from what I can see.
