I apologize if this isn't the right forum. I looked at the other sections and didn't think it fit in those.
A local pizza delivery shop put up a WOF style "Guess the Phrase" puzzle on social media to promote a new dessert they're rolling out soon. I have a couple ideas but I'm probably not clever enough to solve it with just one letter. Here it is... the clue or category or whatever is "A Sweet Surprise"...
_ _ _ _ ... _ _ T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
(3 words - 4 letters, 4 letters, and 8 letters)
I thought maybe "MILK WITH BROWNIES" but that sounds kind of awkward, since "brownies" usually comes first in a phrase like that. Any ideas?

Hi, mister42. I just happened to see your message, and the first thought that came to mind for the 3rd word (assuming the 2nd is truly WITH) is CINNAMON. I'm seldom on social media, so I was wondering if there is any announced intention to reveal more letters as time passes, or is this all we're going to be given? Is there any chance that the first few words are more related to where the local pizza delivery shop is (for instance, 2nd word could be CITY)? Good luck with this one. I'll be certain to share any other ideas that come to mind, especially since they sometimes hit out of the blue. Sean (BrainBoggler)

CINNAMON also occurred to me. It'd make a smoother phrase than "milk with brownies" lol. They are going to reveal a new letter every day from here til the 20th of March, but in case there's some kind of prize for getting it right, I was hoping to get it figured out ASAP. The second word being "with" is just a guess, but seems possible. I doubt the words have to do with the city/location. I'll tell ya what - thinking more on this "with cinnamon" line... this place is known for their breadsticks, which they OFTEN refer to as "stix." It seemed very likely it could be "STIX WITH CINNAMON" but they said all Ts had been inserted into the puzzle already. Back to the drawing board...

mister42, Along the lines of STIX, perhaps the brownies you originally proposed (or whatever sweet treat it turns out to be) will be introduced as BRIX. Just another thought. Sean (BrainBoggler)

Nice idea, eybyon! I think that's a more plausible guess. mister42, please remember to post when the next letter is released. Thanks. Sean (BrainBoggler)

Great idea! I might give that a try. It just seems a little out of left field for a pizza take out joint. I am leaning more and more toward "WITH CINNAMON" though. Nice idea, eybyon! I think that's a more plausible guess. mister42, please remember to post when the next letter is released. Thanks. Sean (BrainBoggler) Today's letter is "H" _ _ _ _. . ._ _ T H _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ All Ts and Hs have been inserted in the puzzle.

Maybe CAKE WITH CINNAMON?

I was already thinking about CAKE or PIES yesterday, but they didn't seem to flow nicely with WITH CINNAMON, so I had dismissed them before even mentioning them. Of course, at this point, they're still very much in the running.

As a joke, I'm going to tweet at them a guess of "PURE METH BROWNIES" lol

Weirdly, they released several letters today and unless they are like, proprietary made up words for the new product, it should be solvable now. I haven't given it any thought yet - it could be obvious, I just wanted to post the clue first. D _ N _ ... _ _ T H _ _ N N A D _ _ What I mean I'm about proprietary made up words is if the last word is something like "CINNADIP" which obviously isn't a real word but could be a name for a product. Somebody already guessed "DUNK WITH CINNADIP" for what it's worth. No repose to that yet. BrainBoggler eybyon

DUNK...WITH CINNADIP? I'm imagining some sort of dessert breadstick that you dunk into a tub of cinnamon dip.

DUNX could possibly be the sequel to Stix, for all we know.

Sorry I didn't get the chance to post earlier, but I was thinking the DUNX idea as well after seeing DUNK...good one, finalspin.

DUNX could possibly be the sequel to Stix, for all we know. Good thought here as well! I think we're onto something. There are very few options that make any sense at this point lol. I'll tweet a guess of "DUNX WITH CINNADIP"

mister42, I just realized I got so caught up in other things yesterday (including March Madness) that I completely forgot to ask if the puzzle had been solved (hopefully by you!) or if more letters were on the way.

mister42, I just realized I got so caught up in other things yesterday (including March Madness) that I completely forgot to ask if the puzzle had been solved (hopefully by you!) or if more letters were on the way. No worries! Hope you're enjoying the basketball. The puzzle was revealed today and it was... drumroll please... DUNX WITH CINNADIP! Congrats to anyone who figured out they were continuing the stix theme with "dunx". Very good reasoning and logic from you. I was the first one to guess that correctly, but I found out there's no prize haha. They should have given away some of those dunx. Anyway thank you all for participating. It was fun figuring it out with you.

Well, there you go, mister42! Too bad you couldn't at least win a free order of them! finalspin gets the credit for the DUNX suggestion, but it was a good team effort from start to finish! Thanks again for getting us involved...you'll have to let us know sometime how those DUNX really taste. I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. Take care.
