There's a couple of things here that indicate that it should be season 2, but some parts don't quite fit that description.
As for the episode itself, it's a strange one with a funny cast of characters. Enjoy:

For me, the fact that it has the wide-font $1,000 wedge in Round 1 is a dead giveaway to this being Season 2 (somewhere between April and June 1985). What do you see that looks out of place?
BTW I have an OC copy of this episode, and one of the commercials acknowledges Wal-Mart's 23rd anniversary, putting this firmly in 1985.

That's what I thought, but in the Bonus Round, they play for a 1986 car. I know that cars don't have to match the year they were made, but that seems a little early if it's season 2.
It doesn't help that the uploader has it listed as 1986.
EDIT: Okay, it looks like that specific car was introduced in February of 1985, so it being late season 2 makes more sense.

I can tell why this is from Season 3 instead, is because of Pat's hair is an indication, so any 1985 episode that had Pat's hair looked like in this video would definitely tell it's a Season 3 show as he dyed his hairdo over the summer.

This is a classic! Gotta be one of the funniest, most laid back episodes.

Hmmm...wonder if Pat & Vanna were a bit tipsy here? One can wonder...
