If Pat & Vanna do bow out, I could see them doing it gracefully after their 40th season. Of course, if they could make it to 50, that'd be even better.

Pat already has broken Barker's record for hosting the same game show continually longer than anyone else. He broke Barker's record in early October. Pat has helmed WOF for seven months longer than Barker is(going from Barker's first first-run TPIR episode to his last 34 years, 9 months, and 11 days later). If Alex makes it one more season, he'll be in second place behind Pat and Barker will be in third place for time hosting the same game show continually. Alex will be 80 when the last episodes of the 2019-20 season air.

I have a feeling Vanna will stick around forever. Like, forever forever. Not a metaphor.

Nice to know that Wheel will for sure make it to their 7,000th nighttime show now, which should be in May 2019.
In terms of number of syndicated episodes, Wheel's will now have at least 7,215 (exactly 3,000 more than the daytime run). Jeopardy! will have at least 7,870. Episode 7,500 should come in December 2018.
