Hello, everyone. My name is acwof, and I am relatively new here to the Buy A Vowel forum.
Let me start this post with a little backstory before I get into asking a question regarding getting emails from Wheel of Fortune to audition online.
Two years ago, I received an email from Wheel of Fortune saying that the game show was looking for contestants from the Georgia area, which is where I am from. You had to apply online to be a contestant from the show's online application. I didn't audition at that time because I overlooked the email, and I was going through a difficult time in my life. (I probably would not have auditioned anyway because I wasn't ready for something like that, and because of the latter. I've overcome that difficult time, though.)
A little more than a week ago, last Wednesday to be precise, I received another email from Wheel of Fortune saying that the game show was looking for contestants in my area. However, it DID NOT specify that the show was looking for contestants from Georgia.
I auditioned, anyway, from the show's online application, as I felt more ready/mature to be a contestant on the show.
It has been a week since I submitted my application, so I still have to wait a while to see if I hear anything back regarding my audition. (I'm constantly checking my emails to make sure I do not overlook anything.)
Anyway, now that I have told you the backstory, the question that I would like ask everyone is this:
Did anybody else receive an email from Wheel of Fortune about a week ago regarding auditing online to be a contestant?
While anyone can answer this question, I am asking this question mainly to those who are NOT FROM GEORGIA, and the reason I am asking this question is to wonder if this was a just a general email sent to all Wheel Watchers, or if it was specifically to Wheel Watchers in the Georgia area.
Thank you in advance!
