Are they going to rerun episodes from 2016? Good question. If they do, the music will surely be redubbed, but either way, we'll most definitely see 2016 episodes as late as summer 2018 on Saturdays. It was pretty odd that S33's summer reruns didn't have any weeks from 2015, but S32's had several from 2014. Teacher's Week usually isn't part of summer reruns. This theme did not rerun for the Season 32 or 33 summer reruns, though 4/5 of the shows were aired in S32's Saturday feed and 2/5 have aired so far on S33's. National Parks and Shopping Spree are definite possibilities. As for week 3, Disney Grand Adventures I, maybe. They do always rerun at least one of the Disney weeks, but I imagine they will prioritize the other DGA week because of the viral "POPSICLE BIKE" moment. I'm not surprised they're scheduling "NAKED DESIRE" first. I bet the week with "_ _CK / _T / _ _RK" shows up, too. |

What do you mean "overlap"? Like, an episode reruns in the summer and then airs again on a Saturday next season? Rarely, and when it does happen, it's usually only one episode. It happened with Seasons 30 and 32 with a random America's Game show with nothing too notable. The Saturday feeds for Seasons 31 and 32 both had an episode rerun twice likely due to an oversight, as nothing too notable happened on those shows either. If it ever does happen, I currently denote it with a blue row in the Saturday reruns table.
There was a special case where the first million dollar winner episode reran the Saturday after it first aired and again that summer.

Are they going to rerun episodes from 2016? Wheel Across America, OAD November 14-18, 2016, is rerunning the week of June 26-30. If they keep up with tradition, an America's Game week will most likely rerun July 3-7 in honor of Independence Day. |

$5K Every Day was also on hiatus for the first 18 weeks of the season, barring Secret Santa, so 16 weeks or 80 episodes in first-run did not have it. It was brought back starting with Week 19, so the latter 21 weeks plus the 2 Secret Santa weeks had SPIN IDs drawn, so that's 115 shows. Now that reruns are underway for the remaining 13 weeks of the year until the next season premiere, that makes another 65 weekdays with no drawing.
So, over the course of the year between S34 and S35's premieres, only 115 out of 260 weekday airings of Wheel (44%) will have had a SPIN ID drawing.

Who watched or DVR'd last night? Did you get Friday's Southern Charm episode (Annmarie/Ben/Amy; BR was HIGH POINT OF MY DAY, $100K Loss)?
Several posts on social media from last night show that many stations instead aired this week's Saturday rerun (03/02/2016, Wish You Were Here! week; Lisa/David/Myra; BR was UPBEAT OUTLOOK, $45K Loss). Wheel most likely told stations to pull a last-minute swap because of the current controversy surrounding an image used during Southern Charm week. Harry said in an official statement that the image would be edited out on any future rebroadcasts.
I did see one tweet from a Canadian pointing out the $100K loss.

I ended up getting the season 33 rerun. What was the controversial image during Southern Charm week that caused Harry and the others at Wheel to swap? I just need to get a clear understanding of why they did it.

Can I just point out how ironic this post is considering that we had a literal overlap between the summer and Saturday reruns last Friday? :lol: Week of July 3-7 is actually not an America's Game or patriotic week despite the holiday. It's Fabulous Food, another 2016 week. |
