We all know that there is a Wheel of Fortune video game for pretty much every video game console out there. What I would like to see is a Wheel of Fortune video game for the PS4 or the XBox One or both. If this were to happen, I think they would have updated wheel layouts, and updated rounds (like no Jackpot round and the featured prize only being mentioned if a contestant wins it). Plus, they would need to update the music too to fit the current season. Any thoughts on this?

It would be nice, but I highly doubt it will happen now that THQ is defunct. Unless another developer decides to step in, I'd say it's unlikely.

Nordic Games acquired the video game rights from THQ among almost all of their other IP's such as the Darksiders series. Later prints of the Wii/PS3/360/Wii U games use their logo on the cover instead of THQ's. However, Nordic doesn't seem to have faith in Wheel or any other casual game for PS4 or Xbox One, per this article: www.mcvuk.com/news/read/thq-nordic-explains-its-rebrand/0171693In addition, Wheel and Jeopardy!'s digital versions were removed from the Nintendo eShop and the PlayStation and Xbox stores as of last March. community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Now/Removed-games/td-p/46207007 Either Nordic's rights to the IP's expired or they simply lost interest and gave them up. I don't think Wheel or J! for PS4 or Xbox One are going to happen any time soon, so hopefully some other publisher can pick up the rights if they're available again. I'd love to see a version for the Nintendo Switch.

A version for the Switch would be undoubtedly nice since you can play it wherever you want to, but when it comes to the Switch, the Xbox One, and the PS4, I believe the PS4 has the greatest chance of having a Wheel of Fortune game since Sony has the rights to the show. After all, there were two games on the PS3 while the Wii U and Xbox 360 each had one. In addition, I saw footage a few months ago of a Wheel of Fortune game in development for the Google Cardboard. I would not be surprised at all if the game made its way to the PlayStation VR. I made a thread dedicated to that if anyone wants to read it and see the video. buyavowel.boards.net/thread/9016/wheel-vr

Now that you mention the Switch, that would be a nice console to have a Wheel of Fortune game on. But I do have to agree with you germanname when you say the PS4 will most likely have a Wheel game. It'd be pretty neat, I think.

A new Jeopardy! console game is coming out later this year from Ubisoft. Looks like the rights for at least Jeopardy! have changed hands. Hopefully a Wheel game will accompany it. No word yet.

All editions of Wheel on every console has been great, the only drawback I have is they should fix it to where you can build your own wheel! Especially let you set your own rules!

Interesting that they'll be packaged as one game together.
Sad that there's no Nintendo Switch version, at least not yet.

Wonder if it’ll have Pat, Vanna, and Alex?

Ooh, now I have goosebumps! I'm looking forward to playing this on my PS4 Pro. Nevertheless, I'm also hoping that Ubisoft doesn't rush the game.

I do hope it comes out for the switch, If not then I'll have to get the Xbox out of the closet...

Both games will be released together at retail for $39.99, or can be downloaded separately for $19.99 each. They will be released November 7 for PS4 and Xbox One, no Switch. The games do not feature Pat, Vanna, or Alex; just generic stand-ins. blog.ubi.com/jeopardy-wheel-fortune-coming-consoles-november-7/This reminds me of the 2009 PS3 game.

Old Wheel font on the boxart layout (even though the in-game Wheel has the current font)? Interesting. Having the Mystery wedges on different wedges on the boxart layout? Interesting. Having a "generic" host and hostess in place of Pat and Vanna (a nod to some of GameTek's old Wheel games for the NES and the PC? Interesting. Nonetheless, it certainly looks like an improved, updated, and face-lifted take on the 2009 PS3 version, and to finally have the Express wedge make a home game appearance? I'm already looking forward to my first Express run on this very promising version of Wheel - not to mention some $650 spins! And I'm sure we'll find out come November 7 whether or not the yellow $600 will change to $900 in Round 3, but I have this sixth sense that it probably won't. Even if it doesn't, it probably won't be that big of a deal anyway.

I want to know what the graphic designer was thinking when they put together that Wheel for the watermark. When has every token been on the wheel at once? Not to mention that weird logo in the center.

If I had to guess why all the elements are on the artwork of the Wheel, I can imagine it's to show everything that the Wheel offers, but I'm with you on how off the center logo looks, wheellover65 . Anyway, a good full view of the Wheel artwork (albeit with a simple but sparkly light blue center without the logo) can be viewed at Amazon along with the boxart as well as some screenshots of both Wheel and Jeopardy! Looking at the Jeopardy! screenshots makes me feel rather skeptical. It looks too simple. Instead of having a studio-like setting, it appears to be more like cyberspace, but we'll see what else it has to offer come November 7th. By the way, despite not being listed on GameStop's site, the game is up for pre-order at GameStop stores. I pre-ordered a copy for the PS4 at my local GameStop store a few hours ago.

Yeah, Jeopardy! just looks weird. It doesn't look at all like the show. Being able to customize the category rotation seems like a nice feature, though. I don't have very high hopes for either game, but Wheel's graphics at least look nice. Why can't the video wall look like that on the real show? I'll be downloading the Xbox One version of Wheel on day one, but I'll probably wait for J! to go on sale to get it. I did the same with the Wii U games.
