I will possibly be attending the July 27 taping, specifically the one at noon PST.
I'm really excited to (hopefully) attend a taping of Wheel of Fortune, because I want to be a contestant on the show (like many other people on this forum), and I thought it would help to see a taping of the show first before auditioning to become a contestant.

acwof, you only need to make an admin aware of going to a taping if you plan to share info about the taping on these boards. This is so that we don't accidentally spoil game results. We do not need to be aware of the sole fact that you're going--only if you're going to share some details. Of course, if you're going as a contestant, we'd like to know when you're going to be on so we know when to watch! (And so that you get that cool "WOF Alumnus" badge on your profile, like I've got!)

I hope I will not get in trouble for providing spoilers, such as the themed week that I saw. Last I checked, the week's theme is never a spoiler, so you'd be fine sharing that publicly. Make sure you take notes after your taping, though - we always love to hear stories about tapings in the recap threads.  |

I've got a question that i want to ask on this forum.
Next week, the tapings for Season 35 of WOF begin, and as I mentioned before, I will possibly be attending the July 27 taping at noon.
When you request tickets for a taping on WOF's website, you are given a receipt that acts as your ticket to get into the game show studio at Sony Pictures in Culver City. In addition, you must also call a number (which is provided on the receipt) at least a week in advance to confirm that you will be at the taping.
I requested tickets a few weeks ago, and last week, I called the number to confirm that I would be attending. Please keep in mind that I called the number TWO WEEKS before the tape date, and not one week.
However, I am not sure if Sony Pictures knows that I will be in attendance, because the number I called went straight to an automated message. I had to give some information, such as the taping I would be attending and number of people in my party, as my way of conformation. I think I conformed way too early, and am afraid to call the number again, and confirm a second time.
For those who have seen a taping of WOF before, and have been through the process that I have described above, is there any way I can find out if Sony Pictures received my confirmation?

You should be fine. Having done many tapings for Wheel, it's always been an automated voicemail and I haven't had an issue come up where they wouldn't accept my tickets.
