Hello, everyone. This is acwof.
Most of you may not be aware of this, but this week, I will be attending a Wheel of Fortune taping. Please keep in mind that I am NOT there to be a contestant; I am only there to be part of the AUDIENCE.
I will be visiting Los Angeles/Culver City for 2 days. I will fly there Wednesday morning (I am from Georgia), see the taping on Thursday, and leave that Friday morning.
Does anyone who has seen the show in person, or been a contestant on the show, have any tips as to how I can make the most of my experience seeing a taping of Wheel of Fortune?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

During the breaks, Jim will ask trivia questions about the show. He likes it when you can answer them, and will give you swag for it.

Also another thing is that the contestants will be seated on the far right of the audience. PLEASE DO NOT attempt to talk to the contestants...
When I taped, I had to ignore like 4 people who tried to get my attention.

Especially since by all indication, Jim's done his homework - some of his questions are ones that not many would know the answer to, such as what Wheel's original name was or who the first host and hostess were. |

If you get the time, take the time to tour the museum they've made out of the front of the studio. They have some really interesting photos and memorabilia there, including a trilon from the original puzzleboard.
