It looks like the graphics for the contestant podium are changing yet again but to reflect the egg crate style's that the show used back in the day. Don't know if this is confirmed or not, could be used for promotional photos for the show's 35th season. Also category strips will be the same as seasons past.  |

On the WOF Twitter account, it was announced that today's tapings are for Halloween Week (begins airing October 30). You can go to Facebook Live, Instagram and Snapchat to see a live look.

Interesting that they decided to go back to the old scoreboards even with the new elements. One question for rashad1428! Are the 1/2 car plates elements still part of Wheel of Fortune as of today's tapings?

Aside from the whole "scores being centered" thing, the displays have pretty much returned to their 1990-2002 style. Hopefully, this will last the whole season and be kept afterward. |

I don't know about the 1/2 car plates being taken away. As far as I know they are still part of the game. I am not sure about the egg crate graphic displays for the contestants. I have seen multiple pictures with the current style being used since season 33, (again it can be used as an element to celebrate the shows 35th anniversary). As for the "Halloween" week set, they have and Instagram story and Facebook live showcasing the set. These shows will air the week of October 30 - November 3. Here are some photos of the set.   |

Can confirm today's tapings did not use eggcrates, nor did prior tapings. They look promotional, if anything, like last year's Transparent shootings. Also no news on 1/2 Car going. We'd hear about that.
