So basically, they're doing the Secret Santa Sweepstakes but with just one SPIN ID drawn per show.
Still doesn't guarantee that any "Big Money" will actually be involved, though - just whatever's won by each night's "big winner", which could be just a $13,000 trip (Big Trip Week just doesn't have the same ring to it, though).
EDIT: Waitasec...looking at the official rules, there's this:
$75,550? That's an awfully specific winnings cap, whereas "up to $1,200,000" would've been closer to the most any contestant can win and wouldn't have been as suspicious-looking as "up to $75,550". The other issue I'm seeing is that the rules aren't clear on whether SPIN ID holders get what's won in the Bonus Round - only that numbers are drawn for players that make it to the Bonus Round.
I'm not liking the implications here...

If this is the case, that's a pretty major spoiler. At least if so, it implies that... The curse of Big Money Weeks never giving away more than the minimum in the Bonus Round will be broken, unless somebody wins $40,550 in the maingame, which is unlikely, but plausible. I'm thinking this is most likely $25,550 plus a $50K win. Though it would also mean that they are not increasing the Bonus Round stakes with $65K/$75K/$85K available like they did in 2012. I think it's pretty obvious that Bonus Round winnings will be included. It's nice to know that they have the budget to actually do something somewhat special with Big Moeny Week this year, but I'd rather see this extra money going to actual gameplay like Big Money Weeks of years past. I know this can still happen, but I won't bet on it, because it would potentially cost double to the budget since the winner's winnings will be matched. It also means they can put out extra-hard bonus puzzles and home viewers will still be satisfied with the ~$15K total of cash and trip that most BR losers finish with. It feels like they could have done this kind of sweepstakes with any other week, and I'm sure 90% of the puzzles will still be cliches about money.

Heads up: tonight's episode is teams because it's the sixth episode from Disney Sea & Shore week. Expect the episode to be edited to bits.

The way I see it, the biggest winner of the week was $75,550. I don't get how there are any negative implications here. Robert already pointed it out, but the negative implication is exactly that - it spoils the entire week if they're putting in such a specific amount as the maximum top prize for a contest regarding the winners of a specific week's episodes. If they said "up to $1,200,000", I wouldn't have said anything for the reasons I already mentioned and it wouldn't have spoiled anything, unlike what "up to $75,550" does here. It's nice to know that they have the budget to actually do something somewhat special with Big Moeny Week this year, Given that the contest is "Presented by Jackpot Magic Slots", they'll probably be paying out the home viewer winnings rather than Wheel.

Wow it's really rare there's a major spoiler in the contest rules of all things.
But we know Wheel doesn't give a damn.

Spa Getaway week will not be doubled as a Mother's Day week this season. Male contestants have been confirmed.

So I guess they're not going on the road? Road shows returned this season. This season, they were at Epcot in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

Just for the record, the April 13th episode was from tape date 26 Leave Winter Behind. I should know, I drew that show.
